From 5 to 7 October the XM team took part in the Blockchain Land Conference in Nuevo Leon, Mexico as a Bronze Sponsor. It proved a fantastic opportunity to meet our valued clients, network, attend workshops, and listen to expert speakers' presentations. And to top it all, a World Guinness Record was set at the event.
Blockchain Land was one of the largest events in blockchain industry history, drawing incredible numbers of 12,000+ attendees at the venue and over 650,000 online viewers. Companies from the Latin America blockchain ecosystem, start-ups, business executives, traders, students, and people interested in blockchain from around the world gathered to network, collaborate, learn, and discuss ways that the industry is moving forward.
The venue was divided into four areas dedicated to Finance, NFT, Entrepreneurship, and Software Development. The XM team took a central role in the Finance exhibition with our Crypto CFD's-themed stand. We had 3 excellent days of face-to-face meetings with our clients, partners, and colleagues.
The Finance speakers' program offered a wide range of expertise from leading professionals and offered a platform for attendees to learn about the latest trends and emerging opportunities within the industry. Our instructor Christian Borjón delivered the well-attended and appreciated presentation on How to Trade Cryptos in the Macroeconomic Environment. But without doubt the biggest highlight of the event was setting The Largest Cryptocurrency Class which entered the Guinness World Records with 289 participants.
