In September 2024, XM teamed up with Human Initiative (HI) to deliver urgent aid to 245 victims affected by a devastating flash flood in Rua village, Ternate, North Maluku. The disaster claimed 18 lives and left numerous families homeless, creating an immediate need for essential supplies and food.
Our relief efforts included distributing ready-to-eat meals, fruit packages, and operating a mobile kitchen that catered to 70 individuals daily. These provisions were crucial for those who had lost their homes and were struggling to meet basic needs.
This initiative was more than just an act of charity; it was a mission to rekindle hope and assist families in starting to rebuild their lives.
