Each year on April 22, more than a billion people celebrate International Earth Day, a day dedicated to the protection of our planet from pollution and deforestation. By taking part in activities like collecting litter and planting trees, everyone's doing their best to make our world a happier, healthier place to live in.
To show our appreciation for all these special people, we chose April 22 to resume our yearly donations to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The NGO envisions a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, and they're working hard to conserve and restore biodiversity. Reducing humanity's environmental footprint is crucial for ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources to support current and future generations. And this is something we definitely support.
