At XM we never stray from our core mission: making an impact on the quality of life of people across the world. This rings even truer when it comes to the less fortunate.
Most recently, we teamed-up with Humanitarian Care Malaysia Berhad (MyCARE) and provided Rohingya’s refugee kids from 3 learning centers in Selangor and Johor with school equipment. Our overseas team including our CEO, Ms Stavri Morti, visited one of the organization’s learning centres at Tahfiz Al-Amin to distribute the donation items and also spent time taking part in activities with the children.
In total, almost 100 kids have now access to football balls, shoes, bags, chess games, smart laptop projectors, smart TV and more, so they can enjoy learning and playing like other well supported children.
Many of us can relate to the drama of refugees, especially during the challenging times we live in. For the numerous Rohingya children living in Malaysia, access to education and equality of chances allows them to better prepare for the challenges of adulthood and find their purpose in life.
We strongly believe that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Like MyCARE, we are determined to continue supporting projects and organizations which fight poverty, hunger, and other humanitarian issues across the world.
