XM has recently donated to the OrphanCare Foundation in Malaysia to support their special program that rehouses children abandoned by their families.
The foundation was established in 2008 in response to the increasing numbers of abandoned children. Their goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment and improve children's well-being by placing them in the care of a loving family. The ultimate aim is to secure their future through permanent adoption with a family.
Without the work of OrphanCare many of these abandoned children would end up in institutions. We believe every child needs a loving home and applaud the foundation's efforts. To help 10 of the children rehomed by OrphanCare settle into their new families, we covered their basic needs. This included paying for their new families' groceries, utility bills, transportation for school, and school fees.
