XM collaborates with the Reach for a Dream Foundation in South Africa to try to bring some happiness into the lives of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Every month we make dreams come true for two brave kids.
In June we reached out to these children with critical conditions to fulfil their wishes.
Anthony, 12 years old
Anthony is a shy boy who enjoys cooking and riding his bike and would like to become a surgeon one day. On his birthday, we visited him and his family. The Foundation had informed us that he always wanted a laptop, so we chose a model that both entertains and can enhance his learning. Anthony and his family were delighted with the gift and we shared in their joy and the chance to make them happy.
Innocent Guy, 5 years old
The next boy we visited wanted to remain anonymous and asked us to call him Innocent Guy. He is a bundle of energy who simply loves cartoons. He dreamed of having a cake with the Boss Baby, a character from the animated movie. XM presented him with the cake and a selection of toys. When he was asked which was his favorite, he replied, "All of them!"
