XM has recently funded the building of new classrooms in Wakiso, Uganda. It's our latest humanitarian contribution to the district which dates back to 2017.

Poverty is a barrier that prevents many children from receiving an education which can help them break out of the vicious circle it creates. Having a suitable environment in which to learn can have long-lasting effects on the trajectory of a young person's entire life, affecting their security and potential livelihood.

We believe everyone is entitled to an education. That's why we have joined forces with a local priest, Father Antonios Mutyaba, and the charity Loving Hands, to bring about positive change in the area. A change that will give a new generation the chance to go to school.

This is just one of many projects we undertake as we strive to improve the conditions of the less fortunate and give them the chance for a better future.
