One of the key aspects to being a successful trader is understanding how geopolitical events affect the global market. Over the years, XM has been dedicated to spreading literacy in this topic to our fellow traders. That is why we are pleased to report that we attended as Gold Sponsors and exhibitors at the 59th ACI World Congress and 45th ICA Conference.
Hosted by three major financial associations, this conference has long been a major event on the trading calendar in the MENA region. Taking place from the 17th to 20th November 2021 at the Hilton Al Habtoor in Dubai, it was attended by hundreds of experts from all over the globe, coming together to discuss one the biggest issues that this generation of traders face.
This year's conference was particularly significant to our current climate as the congress organizing committee were focused on addressing how to approach the market in the era of Covid-19, taking into account the political, economic and social disruption that affect people in the industry all over the world.
Our speaker at the event was Avramis Despotis, founder and CEO of Tradepedia. As a highly-respected industry expert, well known for predicting the 2007 stock market fall and specializing in risk analysis, he has had a long history of educating traders on many specialist topics.
