XM recently provided new school uniforms to the children at the Kofinou Refugee Centre in Cyprus.
The plight of refugees strikes a chord with many of us, as blameless families are forced to leave their homes for reasons beyond their control. Some of them have found refuge at the Kofinou Refugee Centre in Cyprus. But beyond the basic need for shelter and food these people also need to find a purpose in their life and start to build again. For the many children this means going to school and preparing for the future.
To help these innocent victims adjust to their new lives XM have donated school uniforms to the children staying at the centre. It is a small act, but one that will hopefully help them feel like they belong.
We remain committed to supporting the less fortunate around the world and to creating equal opportunities. We will be taking even more social responsibility initiatives in the upcoming future, to help as many people as we possibly can.
