For the third time now, XM organized a charity event in Indonesia for the benefit of underprivileged children, with the aim to alleviate the harsh conditions they are exposed to.
The event took place in Jakarta on 4th December 2019, in collaboration with one of the most dedicated charity foundations in Indonesia, Yayasan Sayap Ibu, a non-profit organization founded to act on behalf of youths and their families on the fringes of society.
For millions of children around the world, the reality of childhood is everything but what it should be. XM joined forces with Yayasan Sayap Ibu in an attempt to combat the inhumane circumstances that tens of thousands of Indonesian children grow up in, and to also contribute to their families' wellbeing.
Hand to hand with the caretakers of Yayasan Sayap Ibu, XM initiated a charity event on 4th December to make a donation of various necessary supplies that will serve a good cause. During the day, we handed over a good deal of basic goods to the foundation, including food, sanitation and cleaning items, along with furniture and education supplies.
As for XM the human side of charity also includes a close bond with those in need, our company representatives spent the day meeting with many of the children supported by of Yayasan Sayap Ibu. This was not only a heart-warming experience but at the same time reassurance of what we strive for: making a difference in the lives of children, each of whom has the right to survival, development, protection and an active participation in society.
