This autumn presented yet another good opportunity for individual investors to attend an XM forex seminar in the Greek capital, with keynote speaker Avramis Despotis, on the topic titled Planning Entries and Exits with the Moving Average Ribbon.
Organised at InterContinental Athenaeum Hotel in Athens on 23rd November, the forex seminar and workshop was dedicated to an intensive training session on trend-following strategies, which are extremely useful when it comes to identifying price movements and market depth.
Because moving averages belong to the most frequently technical analysis tools used by online investors, Avramis Despotis demonstrated how to plot a series of moving averages on charts to make up the so-called the Moving Average Ribbon, which proves to be highly useful to identify trends, determine entry-exit levels, as well as manage risk with stop and profit orders.
