On 7th March this year, XM has yet again stayed true to the belief that charitable contributions can make a difference when it comes to safeguard the welfare of children.
XM's corporate social responsibility encompasses quite a variety of activities, one of which has always been in the forefront: the welfare of children. We continue being committed to this noble cause the primary objective of which is to help children in need, support child health, and act in a socially responsible way to prevent children growing up with social or health-related disabilities.
Our latest such charity event was also driven by the firm conviction that every well-meant social action contributes to the common good. On 7th March, XM sponsored the concert Our Own Road in Limassol, Cyprus, which featured quite a number of prominent Greek and Greek Cypriot artists from the music industry. The purpose of the event was none other than donating the money collected from the concert tickets to the Limassol-based Center for Preventive Pediatrics, a non-profit organization specialized in the detection and prevention of prenatal and neonatal diseases.
We trust that the financial support that XM has donated will make a considerable difference in the lives of the children who undergo treatment in this renowned local health center, as well as motivate many more individuals and institutions to contribute to the well-being of children.
