XM has recently launched an islandwide public appeal to all those who wish to contribute to the common good to join the live music event initiated by Act Big! Charity Movement in Larnaca, Cyprus, between 7-8 September 2013.
The fundraising charity music event organized by Act Big! is by far the most significant in Cyprus and its ultimate purpose is to donate the net income of the two-day long event to One Dream One Wish foundation to help children suffering from cancer.
XM expresses the company's corporate social engagement by having donated a considerable amount to Act Big! to help the event take place, as well as promote the event nationwide through various online and offline channels. Moreover, XM supports the event by raising funds for charitable purposes and by sensitizing people to crucial social issues.
Side by side with the event organizers, XM official representatives and company staff members are greatly involved in the fundraising campaign to help the event reach its social goal. Well over 4,000 people are expected to take part in each music event day, with an anticipated net fund amount of over €20,000 to donate to One Dream One Wish foundation.
