At XM we firmly believe that every child has the right to open the gateway to higher education and fulfil their potential.
In March we partnered up with HOPE Worldwide Malaysia to launch Securing Futures through Education - Empowering SPM Success, an initiative designed to support underprivileged students at secondary school age. In a new charity initiative, we sponsored the Bahasa Melayu (SPM) tuition for six students for six months, helping them improve their academic outcomes.
For Malay students, the SPM exam is a milestone that can shape their future - It’s the passport to enter university, as well as the minimum job qualification for many entry-level positions.
Moreover, on March 14, 2026, our staff-turned-volunteers acted as assistant teachers to young children who learn English through the Artspeak English Reading Program. They practised storytelling, games, and other creative activities that children loved, creating a fun and interactive learning environment.
Our team was honoured to take on an active role as tutors in both English and Malay, supporting the ongoing initiatives of HOPE Worldwide Malaysia. HOPE’s humanitarian efforts expand beyond education to health, emergency relief and food aid, building dignity and resilience for marginalised communities.
