XM Spreads Magic and Joy With the Red Cross Home for the Disabled'24

In a heartwarming collaboration, we recently joined forces with the Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD) in Singapore to organize an "Immersive Disney Animation Exhibition Outing" to bring joy to those who need it the most.

This charity initiative was designed as a therapeutic experience that took 12 residents of the Red Cross home, who have severe physical and intellectual disabilities, on a recreational activity filled with magic and wonder, to elevate their mental state and help them find happiness.

RCHD is the nation's first residential home for individuals facing such challenges, and it provides round-the-clock care for 100 disabled adults who are unable to care for themselves.

The program also seeks to alleviate the financial burden of families who struggle to afford essentials by funding enriching outings for the residents. The Singapore Red Cross stands out in its humanitarian efforts, and its mission is dedicated to relieving human suffering, protecting human lives and dignity, and responding to emergencies.

This outing was meticulously organized by the dedicated RCHD team and saw the 12 residents immersing themselves in the magic of Disney, while enjoying an activity that stimulated their bodies and minds. We're grateful for all the effort put into this event, and we'd like to thank RCHD for allowing us to help them make a positive change.

The event which took place on November 23 and 30, 2023 at the iconic Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands, is the third charity event organized in Singapore this year by XM and it's part of our continuous effort to give back to communities around the world.
