At the end of September, severe floods hit the Thessaly region in Greece. Survivors who lost their homes, belongings, and loved ones are now trying to get back on their feet. Volunteers from our team in Greece helped provide victims with necessities to alleviate their struggles.
The help provided in the first days after a disaster can make a world of difference. As soon as they heard the news, our volunteers sprang into action. They purchased food, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and baby food, which were promptly delivered to the survivors by the Humanity Greece charity.
