A Better Quality of Life for Seniors in Singapore'23

We've teamed up with the Singapore Red Cross once again, to support vulnerable seniors living on their own in Tampines. Together, we donated essential items packs, as well as sweet treats to brighten up their day.
Over 88 thousand Singaporean elders live on their own, having no one to care for them. They face multiple challenges in their day-to-day life, from running errands and getting fresh food, to maintaining their health.
To help ease their burden, we donated to the Red Cross ElderAid programme. We distributed packs of nutritional supplements and medical supplies, including first aid and everyday comfort items, rounded off with delicious treats, to help the elders stay healthy and happy.
The ElderAid programme is aimed at reducing seniors' vulnerability and combatting loneliness. Volunteer befrienders visit isolated elders' homes to assist them with their needs. On top of that, the time spent together helps reduce the risk of mental health issues and diseases associated with loneliness.
Ageing doesn't have to be synonymous with a lower quality of life. We are proud to work with charities making a difference for people at a time when they need help the most. Interested in supporting the programme? You can donate or sign up as a volunteer on the Singapore Red Cross website.
