XM Donates to Human Initiative NPO'22

In cooperation with the Indonesian non-profit organisation Human Initiative, XM made a charity donation this March to support communities hit by the catastrophic Semeru volcano eruption.
Semeru, which is one of the most active volcanoes in east Java, Indonesia, killed numerous people and forced thousands of residents to flee the area during a massive eruption in December 2021.
The rescue project and the humanitarian actions of the local Human Initiative NPO have been ongoing since that time to help survivors and their families. In solidarity with all those affected by the natural disaster, as well as to contribute to the mission of Human Initiative, XM made a charity donation in March 2022 to help restore the water towers damaged during the eruption, as the locals affected are in desperate need of clean water.
