XM Joins MyCARE to Help Malaysia's Flood Victims'22

XM recently collaborated with MyCARE in their disaster relief project in Malaysia to help the victims devastated by the flooding, which affected large areas of the country in December 2021.
MyCARE is a non-profit charity organisation, recognised by the United Nations' Economic and Social Council, who have worked tirelessly to get help to the families most severely affected by the devastation.
The floods have caused loss of life, property damage, destruction of crops, loss of livestock, and the deterioration of health conditions owing to waterborne diseases.
The funds we raised were distributed in three phases during January. The first stage involved clean-up in the town of Karak, in the Pahang area, followed by two stages distributing essential food and equipment to the families of Tampin and Gemencheh in the Negeri Sembilan area and the town of Shah Alam, in the Selangor area. This area was also hit hard during the monsoon period that followed the disaster.
This project is the biggest that XM has contributed to in Malaysia and forms part of our over-reaching goal to help people in need across the globe.
