On 24th June, XM completed one more charity initiative by making a charity donation to the Vietnamese Maison Chance Foundation.
Since the beginning, our company's corporate social responsibility actions have attributed much importance to the support of underprivileged children whose health, education and future are at stake. This is again what we kept in sight when joining forces with the Ho Chi Minh City-based non-governmental organisation Maison Chance, whose mission is to ensure a safe haven and the necessary means for physically handicapped children to live a fulfilled life.
As the foundation gives both shelter to street children, orphans and disabled youths and ensures a family-like abode for them where they are encouraged to take exercise and learn how to integrate in society, physical education plays an essential role. To contribute to this noble cause, XM donated a series of sports equipment to Maison Chance for the foundation's children to use for the swimming lessons they take to develop the strength, motor skills and stamina so vital for them.
We would like to thank Maison Chance for their hospitality, for showing our company staff members around their premises and for the heart-warming moments we had the chance of sharing with the children and young adults whose lives they aim to change to the better with dedication and care.
