We are happy to announce that Mr
Pambos Panayiotou has recently joined XM in the position of Director.
Mr Panayiotou brings along extensive know-how in the field of financial markets and business development, and his career of over 10 years encompasses an impressive array of expertise areas, which are a real asset for XM.
He is a holder of a BSc in Actuarial Science and a MSc in Finance and Economics, both acquired at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Furthermore, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a Fellow of the Cyprus Association of Actuaries. He is currently the President of the CFA Society Cyprus.
Among other positions, Mr Panayiotou has served as Head of the Group Institutional Wealth Management and Treasury Markets at the Bank of Cyprus and Vice President of Barclays Bank, where he was in charge of the bank's investment advisory services in Cyprus, addressed to the bank's private, corporate and institutional clients.
Mr Panayiotou's expertise includes corporate consulting, management of stock market launch and corporate bonds, interest rate and commodity risk management for institutional and corporate clients, as well as client deposits and investments in excess of EUR 2 billion.
As Director at XM, Mr Panayiotou is responsible for indentifying new business opportunities and developing new investment products as well as for the corporate management of the company.
